Christmas at the Shoulder 2018

Below is our superb Christmas Experience menu- our best yet! It can be printed it off here. Along side this will be the Bistro menu, which can be found here. Availalbe from Tuesday 4th December to Saturday 22nd December. The ususal Sunday lunch menu will be served on the 23rd December, as normal 12-2pm.

 

Our Christmas Experience Menu

Selection of rolls for the table.

Butternut squash, chestnut and sage soup.   V

Smoked duck salad with  fennel and pear, and a loganberry preserve.

Dressed prawn and crayfish cocktail on a bed of bistro leaf and apple bites.

 Warm crispy poached egg served with spinach velouté and brioche soldiers. V

 Beef Bourguignon and Dauphinoise potatoes.

 Sweet and spiced seafood tagine with wild rice.

Roast Turkey served with all the traditional trimmings.

 Winter vegetable stew topped with sage and onion dumplings and served with roast potatoes.  V

Local cheeses served with biscuits, fresh fig and apple.

 An individual serving of Christmas Pudding with brandy sauce.

 Vanilla Créme Brûlée with homemade rosemary and ginger shortbread.

 Dark chocolate and honeycombe tart served with and white chocolate ice-cream.

 Freshly ground Coffee or Tea with Chocolate Mints.

£29.95 per person, with the following price options:

*As a 3 course set menu,

*As a 2 courses set menu, plus a large glass of house wine,

* Or, for large groups, a starter platter, main dish each and dessert each.

 

A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to the bill. Prices held for the past 3 years.
