Mother's Day

Currently we are full with a record number of large family groups this year. However it may be worth calling us nearer the time in case of a cancellation.

 Below is our delicious menu. There is only one varied sitting this year, so no one feels pushed out.

The Menu

On Arrival

A platter to share- Cold meats, Brie, humus, salmon pate, olives, Focaccia wafers, sweet chilli jam and caramelised red onion chutney.

 

 Roast options

Roast Topside of Beef cooked medium rare

Precision cooked 30 hour Leg of Mutton

Honey and Orange glazed Roast Gammon

Aspall Cyder infused Breast of Turkey

Aspall Cyder infused Loin of Pork

 

The above are all served with triple cooked roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, sausage meat stuffing, a Rosemary and Thyme infused Yorkshire Pudding and home-made gravy.

 

 Also available

Home-made Steak Burger with chips, cheese, salad garnish and a white sour dough roll.

Hake fillet topped with a basil and garlic crust, finished with a creamy white wine sauce. Served with seasonal vegetables.

Vegetarian Shepherds pie. 

Grilled fresh salmon fillet served with either fresh lemon or a dill and saffron sauce. Served with a selection of seasonal vegetables.

Butterflied chicken breast cooked in garlic herb butter, served with chunky chips and dressed salad.
